FMLA and sick time

I have approved FMLA for my family members and I only have 24 hours left for the FMLA for this year. Can I still call in sick for 5 days? that will be more than 24 hours FMLA left. In California, you only have 480 FMLA hours a year. I only have 24 hours left. My FMLA was approved to take care of family members. Does that mean I can't  call in sick for more than 24 hours left?????

 

Please help me on this. I need to keep my job.
