family questions

I live in California. We are chinese and US PR. But I am not that smart to understand CA laws. A couple of questions for smart people here:

Q1: Sometimes my wife asked me not to leave home. She did two things to threaten me.If I've walked out of home, she would ask my 7-y-old son to call police and she leaves in the same time. Of course, the picture she has is that cops come and arrest both of us for leaving a kid at home unattended. If I am still in home, she stands in front of the door to block me. If I approach, she crys for help and claim I am beating her. If I call cops first, she will make up a story. The question is what should I do to protect my freedom, and in the meantime, not to hurt the boy?

Q2: It's pretty hard to get a divorce here especially when the goal of the other party is to make it as messy as possible. I wonder if anyone knows what will happen if I take my son back to China and file divorce there.
