State Tax Part yr vs. Full yr forms

I moved into current state last year, I knew I need to fill part yr NR form, but I need to attach my fed tax form with it,
also I need to attach my current state W2 with it too, it is just too tedious, can I just fill short forms as a full year resident,
no big difference, I still pay the tax I should, just a simplfied form, no fed form attachment.  Any consequences when they found it out? Thanks.
