回複:沒有終止合約的方式,但是有違約金的條款?????

多謝指教!
剛才打合同時才注意到主合同的倒數第二條(以前沒注意到),這麽說的:
46 End of term
… Tenant shall be responsible for all rent and additional rent until the expiration date of the lease agreement. If tenant vacates the premises prior to the expiration date of term and the apartment home is re-rented prior to the expiration of the lease agreement, Tenant will still be responsible for all rent and additional rent due under the terms and conditions of this lease agreement regardless of any rent collected by landlord from a new tenant for said apartment home.
 
具體情況是:1)被 laid off 沒能力再繼續住下去;2)發生在紐約;3)提前兩個月給了通知;4)最後一個月沒住,提前搬出,留下了押金;5)在那裏住的時間超過8年,一直沒拖欠過房租;6)現已搬到別州,還在找工作處於沒著落狀態。
事前聽當地人說一般解除合同提前搬出隻要提前兩個月給通知就行。
 
請問能有什麽選項?多謝!
