Thank you for your reply. Before I sent the compensation demanding email, I did exchange email with the Photographer a few times to ask him to hire a professional data recovery service and keep me updated. However, he only asked a non-professional person to try to fix the computer and did not want to pay more to save the data on the computer. Now the problem is that he is not even responding to my email to discuss about the compensation terms. I'm afraid taking legal action might be my last straw. However, without the physical address of the photographer, can I still sue him?
