one thing for sure--immigration status is not a valid argument

there is no point to argue resident status now, (illegals do have some equal law protections, believe it or not), but the cause of the accident. So the matter is who to pay for $20k difference now, either from your own pocket, or to hire an attorney for $xk and above. just me own 2 penny.
