like i said before, the best way to handle this is to settle it. if you have been served, and don't show up to court, you will be default on judgement, you lose. they can legally collect the full amount plus anything they add.

and they could enforce out of state wage garnishment.

either you settle it or file for bankruptcy to get rid of it.
