first of all, small claim do not care if you 歧視 or not...

that is a civil court matter..

I am a landlord, not big but big enough I go to small claim once or twice a week, so for you as a tenant,

1. your lease is a contract, if you want to break it, you must sue for breach to break it, I do think you have good ground here.

2. small claim court has its limitations, depends on your state, there is a maximum you can sue for, so let's say $3000, if your landlord counter sue for more, the case will be transfer to a civil court, where without an experienced attorney, you most likely will lose.

3. small claim do not care if you 歧視 or not, so if you want to argue on that point, you in the wrong court.

haha..I am not saying you can't do it yourself, but you better prepare yourself first...
