Please drop the idea about legal or illegal

It's all about negotiation. If you don't ask, you get nothing. You asked before, but you have nothing to play with. Now you have more, you have a bit more to bet on. That's it. But don't loose sleep on it.

What you are seeking for is such a small amount, seriously hardly any layer would bother to take the case even if clearly you maybe wronged.
