pregnancy lawsuit?

My friend was not treated fairly by the boss during pregnancy. She actually got more work during pregnancy (overtime, weekend work etc). She finally had to reduce work by doctor certificate. Thank god, the baby was born smoothly and the mom is fine now. But does she have a case?
