medical insurance during divorce proceeding

If I delay divorce in order to keep her insurance for short period, will I have the right any time I want to finish the divorce?

She isn't on my coverage yet. We dont have spouse support,medical insurance from each other and have been seperated for 7 years.

If I cover her now, is she eligible to ask for spouse support in case she isn't capable to work?

I am in CA and I afraid I am trapped in future if I help her now.
