《I love you》是陶喆作詞、作曲，王若琳演唱的一首歌曲。

王若琳的父親是音樂人王治平 ，母親是詞作者範中芬。王若琳是家中的長女，還有兩個妹妹 。12歲時父母離異，由母親在美國照料她們三姐妹。

王若琳8歲時隨父母去了美國。後來，由於父親王治平是音樂人的關係，王若琳聽遍了多語種、多流派、多年代的音樂，也啟發了她對音樂和創作的興趣。12歲時，父親送了一把左手用的吉他給她，剛好王若琳喜歡保羅·麥卡特尼，同為左撇子的她開始模仿偶像用左手彈吉他。16歲時，她回到中國台灣，到酒吧唱歌 
王治平（Bing Wang，1961年5月7日 —），苗栗縣客家人，台灣音樂製作人，現任華研國際音樂音樂總監。王治平在年輕時與庾澄慶組過樂團，曾擔任陶喆同名專輯、S.H.E、ASOS、林宥嘉、楊乃文和孫燕姿等藝人及組合之專輯製作，以林宥嘉《神秘嘉賓》專輯裏收錄的《眼色》以及田馥甄《To Hebe》專輯裏收錄的〈LOVE！〉分別獲得第20屆以及第22屆金曲獎最佳單曲製作人獎、並以田馥甄《My Love》專輯中〈請給我好一點的情敵〉一曲入圍第23屆金曲獎最佳單曲製作人獎。曾客串演出電視劇《愛上巧克力》、電影《西門町》。曾為電影《裏約大冒險2》中文版擔任配音。王治平前妻為音樂填詞人範中芬（原名：範家榆），育有一女王若琳。兩人在2002年離婚。

2010-2012年，王治平與林慧萍交往。
