I am debating whether to keep the nanny while I am home during the maternity leave.  Option 1: Send my 2 year old to school 5 days a week from 8-1.  My parents and I will take care of the little one.  No nanny.

Option 2: Keep the nanny to look after my 2 year old and my parents and I will take care of the little one.    

My parents are planning to stay for 6 months to a year.  For option 1 the only concern I have is that I will probably need to find another nanny for the little one once my parents leave.  My current one is from Europe and colleage educated.  She has done a good job taking care of my daughter so would really like to keep her for my little one.
