pp is worse than single mom

my hu*****and told me that his father passed away in 2005. I thought my hu*****and already finished college at that time (He is 36 yrs old now), so it is not the  case of "window mom raised son with hardship".

It turns out that his father wanted to divorce his mom right after my hu*****and was born, but his mom tried hard not to divorce, then his father moved out and lived with another woman, untill he died.

During that time, his  father came back home accasionally, and his mom delivered two more kids during that time (my hu*****and has two younger brothers.)

My hu*****and refused to tell me this story, I heard it from his relatives.

So his mom thinks that I steal his son away from her financially and emotionally. The problem is my hu*****and agrees with that idea.
