During the time of a city committee campaign in Chicago, a politician said to a foods businessman: "May I expect your support?"

"I am sorry. I have promised to support another candidate."

"Well, it's easy." The politician smiled: "In politics, promising and action are completely different things."

"Then, sir." The foods businessman said friendly: "I am delighted to support you."
