Too few citations.

If you do a simple calculation: 126 citations/30 papers= 4 citations/paper.

On average only 4 paper recognize each of your original contribution to the scientific community.
Among the 126 citations, how many were self-citations? These are the questions on the examining officer's mind. Try to convince him/her that your papers were important to other groups' research.
