I-485 pending without visa

Hi,

I was on H1b and I-485 pending based on marriage. Unfortunately,my company filed bankcrupcy last week, therefore I lost my H1b status.Since I just filed I-485 so I haven't received AP or EAD yet.

My question is am I leagal as 485 pending or am I leagal now? When I receive the AP, can I come back again without problem?

Hopefully I can get some advice from experienced XDJM.
