no paper notice, but if you sign up the USCIS and add your case number, you will get update notices email.

Typically, 1-2 weeks after FP, you should receive email say that the result of FP was send back to USCIS, processing resume ... also sometime change the date of update without change message, then you know there are at least work something on your case ...
