I am in the same situation

As far as I know,I-485 is no problem after I-140 is approved if your employment field or relevant circumstance is no big change. I have not heard denial of I-485 from all of my friends who used EAD and AP after 140 approval and got their 485 approval at last. Do not worry! I think your 485 is not a worry if your background including personal info is no problem. I plan to use AP and EAD instaed of H1B that is not convenient. See you guys in Lang Shan Po!
