by using medicaid .then it is not an emergency medicaid.if she had an insurance,why you applied medicaid when she delivered your baby? I think probably your baby used medicaid too right? Don not take it too serious. since you know medicaid is not considered as public charge. there are a little affect on your I-485 application. Another way is since your wife applied the I-485. you can say "no" on your I-485
and say "yes" on your wife's I-485.
You'd better consult your laywer how to answer your question. since when you applied medicaid you have to provied your income level and your information. it is very easy for INS to find out if they want.There are so many people used medicaid special F2 when they got pregnant. I didn't heard any case that the GC was denied because of this .Also Wic is one of the public assitance programs
