Is your son's case from Nebraska center? My family got similar notices for our I485. The only difference is that they are going to send us directly the permanent residence cards in 3 weeks. I will see if I could receive them without going to local immigration office for passport stamping. Does this mean that USCIS is simplifying the procedures for GC?
