140 approved 485 pending 問題

I-140 Approved
485 receipt notice at 12/28/2004, still pending, Work base. But lost job, No payroll, H-1 still valid to 2006.
In this case, if Immigration office not ask emplyeement letter, can I get Green card? 對以後申請公民有何影響？除找工作外有什麽措施？
