Need fingerprint for EAD?

I has got the receipt for EAD renew application. I sent 2 photos with EAD application. Do I need to make fingerprint for the new EAD? Is there someone who will notice me to make appointment to take fingerprint? Or I should make the appointment now. There is no any message about fingerprint on the receipt.
