由於成績優秀，我的孩子2000年被美國多所大學錄取 --> 因為國際學生每學期必須學夠規定的學分，根本沒有時間把學業學精學透.

Really? A lot of international students are studying in US and working (legally or illegally) at the same time for their tuition. They can handle their courses very well.

Don't use too many emotional words. Just tell the fact and face the reality.
