Dear friends,
I need your suggestion. I am current a postdoc in chemistry and my research is focused on cancer early detection. I filed I-140 and 485 (NIW, Vermont) in June 2004 . They are both pending. I just got a job offer from a company this morning. I like the job and the salary is not bad. I don't know whether I should change the job. I don't have any working experience before. It is not easy to get to the industry and to start my real career. But green card is more important. Some friends told me that if I change job, it has to be in the same research area. It is not good to go to the industry. Some friends told me that it doesn't matter. If the INS needs any reference, I still can get recommendation letters from my employer. Could you give me some suggestion? Thanks in advance
