Thank you so much for your prompt response. Your answers really help me out. Based on your viewpoints, I think I may file the application for status change to F-1. F-1 is an independent status and has some benefits such as CPT, OPT ect. As there is no conflict even I submit both applications (F-1 and EAD), F-1 will give me more options (use EAD or not). However, one more question arises here. If I change to F-1 and use EAD for internship next summer, I will lose my F-1 status. If our I-485 is not approved in the future, I will be out of status, right? On the other hand, if I keep H-4, my status will be still valid even I-485 is not approved. Any more idea about this, sdfsdfsdff?
I greatly appreciate your time and all the answers to my questions. They are so helpful.
