trip to Panama..

Hi all, I got a question about trip to Panama. I will have a trip to panama. I am now having I140 and I485 pending with AP. Do I need visa to go there? I ask this because I heard that you can go to Mexico without visa. Can anyone share any experiences? appreciated.
