I think it's just a myth. People got rejected for various reasons. I just wanted to say that asking for family help did not mean that visa application would be rejected. One thing I want to clarify is that I did not want peopel to use that as an excuse. We really want the parents to come over here to help us with the newborn and the recovery of the mom after birth. We did not invite them over to look after the baby for a long time. I think there might be a distinction between baby-sitting and family help for birth of a child.
