請教高手，140 被拒怎麽辦？

I submited my I140 on May 2002 VSC (EB2 extraordinary ability) and was required RFE last september. I filed RFE on December and today got a letter saying my petition is denied due to lack of evidence. Anybody can help me out? should I appeal and if not, would this record hurt my future application? THanks a lot.
