you. You will have to keep your F-1 status (hanging on there) and look for a job. Once you get an offer, apply H-1B from your F-1 status. When you apply for H-1B, they will ask you for your current status. If you are kicked out, you can change your major and hang on a MS program to keep your F-1 status before you find a job. No other ways around here.
