Yes, it happened to me 4 months ago when i had my I-485 interview based on marriage in DC.My case is still pending because FBI name check hasn't completed yet.I suppose there are 3 things we could do at this point--1. Fax a name check requst monthly; 2. Write to congress person and explain your urgency in the best way you can. 3. NEVER LOSE HOPE. Ultimately the system works, its just slow for some of us. Good luck!
