急美國H1B去加國當日遊要求簽簽證嗎?哪國簽證?

i am going to visit Michigan for business trip in a few days. the place is a few miles from Canada along one of the five lakes. my coworker wants to go to canada for fun.

do i have to apply for visa(s)? even the closest US consulate is 200 miles from the city i am going, so i don't want to apply US visa from Canada at all.

if i do have to apply visa(s)? which country's visa should i apply? both ? or just US? or just Canada?

if i don't have to apply for visa, what identification should i take? driver license, passport, H1B visa and I-94?
