I-94 is only for proving you enterance is legal. Last week I went to local office for passport stamp. they did not ask for I-94 form and had stamped my passsport. I came back ask them if they need take back the I-94 form, the officer replied to me they do not need, the only purpose is prove your legally entered US. So no need worry about the mistake.
