Thanks for your help. My friend just talked to her lawyer, who is helping her with NIW application. The lawyer said that currently six weeks or less should be
fine. A last paycheck or company's support letter can be used for the next H1 application. So now my friend is kind of relived a little bit and focus on the job search.
