We didn't have any trouble anywhere. Officials at Beijing airport we met were all very nice. Don't worry about the dual nationality, nobody asked us about that.
I guess that's not a question the custome would ask/care.

The travel pass for my child is given because I didn't have GC back then, that is how it is supposed/meant to work.
