Interim OPT valid for 8個月

Any interim EAD will be valid for 8 months only. When your formal EAD comes, it will be valid from the date of the expiration of your interim EAD. Total will add up to 1 year.

That's what happen to me. It happened to you, so I figured that this is the rule.
