申請人目前在加拿大讀大學，明年 5 月畢業，已經拿到綠卡。申請人想申請 I-131 for reentry permit purpose。

申請人是加拿大公民。

問題：

1）申請人目前在加拿大，可否在加拿大準備 I-131 申請材料，而委托他人在美國郵寄申請材料，而本人在加拿大？

-No. You have to be present in US physically to submit the I-131, but you can leave US after you conduct the fingerprinting, not need to wait for the reentry permit approval inside US.

移民局在收到材料時，會不會核實申請人是否在美國，就是查看入境美國記錄？

-Yes.

2）如果不提交這個申請，申請人每半年內入境美國幾天，可否保證綠卡身份無憂？

-Occasionally it is fine, but you cannot do it often.
