上次請教您的問題，我女兒給我申請綠卡，但我要帶著兒子一起，所以她先給我申請，我可以先帶兒子用B2進入，然後再485兒子，延續I94。這樣有個問題，兒子還在小學，如果等待期間上公立學校，據說會影響日後他的綠卡。請教您是否有這個說法，感謝您。

-Your kid has to change his B2 status to F1 status to study at a school after he enters US using B2 visa.  It is violation of status rule for B2 holder to study at a school in US and thus, it will affect his green card application. After he changes his B2 to F1 status, he can go to a private school to study. F-1 holder is not allowed to study at a public elementary school based on the immigration law.
