so if he doesn't get remaried when it's his turn. we can just ask NVC to add his kid then he and his child can go for interview themselves even his divorced wife is on the original I-130 form. Could you please confirm? Thanks.

-Yes. His ex-wife is not qualifed for DS 260 filing for the visa application, so nothing is related to her. Only you file DS 260, the NVC and the US Consulate will process the visa application.
