I filed my EB3 485 app based on RN employment in Oct. 2004 and my priority date is July 8, 2004. Upon the new backlog of EB3(1), My case has to sit on shelf at USCIS until my PD is current. I don't know how long it will take. In May 2000, State department did backlog EB2 and EB3 to Jan 1997. It took about 14 months to get rid of the backlog. In July 2001, EB2 and EB3 became current. Can anybody tell me whether or not I will get fingerprinted during my case pending time and before my priority date becomes current? Or I have to wait for fingerprinting until my PD is current? Thanks.
