INCORRECT

You go out of status only if at the time of rejection you are on your EAD which is dependent upon your I485. On the other hand, if you have other nonimmigrant status such as F1/H1/J1/L1 at the time of rejection, you are still good for that nonimmigrant status but not out of status.
