請教8老師，我是EB-1C，multinational manager. 2017年10月16日交i-485。2017年1月1日，還沒到180天，公司整體組織架構變化，我的legal entity 變了。但是我的工作職責，title 都沒有變化。

對於變legal entity 的事情，我也沒有注意到，直到2017年6月，收到麵試通知準備pay slip 的時候，才發現。跟公司交涉，把我的legal entity 變回去了。麵試沒有專門提到這個。但是我的I-485j 一直沒有批下來，說是我不portable 了。
-Who told you your I-485 was not portable, USCIS? If it is the IO in USCIS, then this IO seems inexperienced.

最近公司有些動蕩，如果公司辭退我，我的綠卡的申請就終止了，是嗎？
-If you can find a job in the same/similar field, your I-485 is still valid even if you are laid off by the current employer. So, you just need to file an I-485J form when you get a new job in this case.

8老師，能否給些建議，我怎樣和uscis 來argue , 我並沒有在180天內換工作，legal entity 的change, 是公司的架構調整，我應該可以portable. 謝謝！盼複！
-If USCIS told you that your I-485 could not be portable and thus, deny your I-485 later, you can hire a lawyer to file I-290B motion to reopen it. Although your I-485 pending was less than 180 days when you changed legal entity, it was more than 180 days before USCIS made a decision on your I-485. Therefore, your I-485 was still portable.
