Hi Professor 8:

When we submit I-485, are we required to submit paycheck stub?-No. Is an employer letter, which demonstrates the employer's intention to hire, good enough to replace paycheck stub?-Yes.

My wife may be out of work for 3 months without pay when we submit I-485. We are not sure if this short unemployment period will disrupt our green card application or not.-No problem.
