我們全家移民的案子能走到今天都要感謝您的幫助，您的回答都非常細致和準確！今早NVC發來郵件確認文件已經收齊，已經在排隊等待麵試，但是沒有給具體的麵試時間，說是60天內。由於暑假做研究比較忙，想請問一般麵試日期離收到這封確認信相隔多少時間？

-Yes. there is enough time for you to do it after you receive the inetrview appointment notice.

還有一個問題想請教您。由於母親（主要收益人）去世，我和父親成為兩個獨立的收益人。大姨替我和父親向NVC寫信並提供了母親的死亡證明以及我在美國的residence證明，向NVC敘述繼續申請的理由是“我在美國讀phd需要四五年時間，希望父親能來美國和我團聚”。鑒於父親共產黨官員的身份，請問麵試被拒絕的可能性大嗎？

-Your father needs to provide a statement addessing why he jointed the Party (e.g. for job, promotion). I fhe can abandon the Party membership, thtat will be helpful.

是不是都到了麵試這一關，基本上都會通過？

-Case by case, in most cases, it should be fine.
