1. if your passport got the stamp "...I-551..." at the end of the gc interview: you don't need any thing extra for both china and US. by the way, you also good for unlimited entries of Hong Kong and Macau.
2 You US citizen hu*****and need China visa to visit china. nothing required for return US. China visa is no longer available by mail from youself. you have to go to China consulate office or use a travel angent to do the mail for you.
