You need to ask your new school to file the H-1 transfer before your current job ends unless you will use EAD to work。考古過其他帖子，不打算用EAD開始新工作。新問題是 （1）5月15日485pending180天，5月31日現工作結束。所以想讓新學校在5月20日提交H1 transfer，如何？

-Fine or a little earlier.  

或者根本不必考慮485pending的事情，應盡早提交transfer。

-Fine. The date of filing H-1 trasnfer petition does not mean the date you start to work.

另外，（2）是不是隻要新學校為我提交了H1transfer，無須等到審批，我都可以合法待在美國？

-Yes, and you can start to work for the new employer after filing if you want to.

（3）我日後還需要離境重新申請入境嗎？

-No if the H-1 transfer is filed before you leave current job.
