我媽過世了，現在為我爸申請綠卡。填寫I-130/I-485的時候，碰到一些問題。

 

I-130: Section C Information about your relative:

       6. Married Status:  應該填寫"Widowed", 而不是 "Married"， 對吧？

       17： List spouse and all children of your relatives:

這裏需要把子女列出來。但需要把過世的配偶列在其中嗎？這裏的"spouse"是包括過世的配偶嗎？

-No.

 I-485: Part, B: List your present spouse and all of your children (include adult sons and daughters).

同樣，這裏“present spouse"需要包括過世的配偶嗎？

-No. Your mother is considered as your father's "former spouse", not "present spouse". Technically, he is single now.
