If I and my family (wife, children) get immigration visa through my brother (F4), can I go to USA first to get stuff settle down then get my wife and children to USA later (like 3 to 5 months later)?

-Yes. As long as they come to US before the immigration visa expires, it will be fine. Immigration visa normally is valid for 6 months.
