現持H1簽證，I140已經批準

1. 如果被裁員，一時又找不到工作，那可以合法呆在這裏嗎？
-You are out of status, but your stay is not counted as unlawful stay until the I-94 expires.

HR說可以的，說等找到工作，讓新的公司再辦H1，可以隨時辦，沒有Quote的，是嗎？
-Right, but you need to go to China to get the H-1 visa to come back if your new employer sponsors your H-1.

2. 那如果H1的6年期限到了，綠卡還沒辦下來，怎麽辦呢？
-It seems you have not filed I-485 yet, right? If so, you need to find a job before your current H-1 I-94 expires, and then ask your new employer to file H-1 petition for you using your current approved I-140 approval notice to extend your H-1 for another 3 years beyond the 6-year limit.
