My child started a four-year undergraduate study at a university in Canada this fall. He only come home (at US) during school breaks. Current priority date is a few months behind our PD, would it affect his green card application, any documentation that we need submit ? thanks 
-No problem as long as he has valid AP.  He needs to renew his AP in US before his current AP expires (may get the emergency AP at the local USCIS Office if he has no much time to wait due to short vacation).
